BINGO PLAYERS      Please note new time for play.  The doors now open at 4:30 and play begins at 5:30. This new time helps for those who don’t like to drive when it is too dark out.

Activities in card room you are reminded that you must clean up after yourselves. Take your trash out, clean up the tables and put them where they belong.  Thank you!!

PICKLEBALL Woohoo!! This activity is coming to Fairways! Constructions begins the week of 8/1 and hopes to be completed for season…..

LONGEVITY CENTER is currently under renovation.  We will soon have new floors and new equipment for your enjoyment.

LIBRARY    We love our new library and obviously you do as well.  We are asking that you NOT leave any more materials at this time. We do NOT accept: DVD’s, VCR tapes or CD’s as we just don’t have room for these items.  Volunteers needed to help keep order, contact Deb at 489-0943.

KEEPING IN TOUCH     In order to keep you more informed of activities going on in the clubhouse, we are asking you to give us your email address and the bulleting will be emailed to you weekly, as well as last minute changes or updates.  

                                                                                            We have recently started a Facebook page as well, FAIRWAYS RECREATION.
                                  Like the page and updates will be posted there as well.

HAPPY HOUR: 3/1/19.  Our co-host is the Golf Leaguepp, with a baked potato bar...$4.00 pp for food; $4.00 pp for bar.

Bocci   10/4 @ 10am start of Bocci season. Annual meeting to receive dues, receives rosters & review financial report. Please attend & new members are welcome.
Color Guard   10/25 @ 9am; Color Guard will collect old and unusable flags in front of clubhouse from 9-11am. The clubhouse flag will be at half-mast on 9/11 and POW recognition the 3rd Friday in September.
Craft Classes   10 am every Wed-Thurs-Fri   We do a variety of crafts: knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, quilting etc. Bring what you like to do best & share with us. Call Joan Brown for more info 332-6341 or 461-6352

Colored Pencils   NEW CLASS; perfect art medium for travelers & those who want convenience of dry art form. Learn what you can do with 20 pencils & paper. All are welcome and looking at TUESDAYS @ 10am starting in September. Call Marlene 412-654-8932

Country Angels   9:30 every Tuesday. We are a group of line dancers with a mission to give back to our community by entertaining residents at nursing homes in our local area. If you have a friend or loved one who would like for us to entertain, please contact us. We also perform at special occasions.

Golf Club   10/3 @ 3pm First club meeting of season. Dues of $5 will be collected prior to meeting. Dues collection dates are 9/20 & 9/21 from 9-11 in card room. Annette Haacker will collect all dues. Sign up for scrambles, Ladies league and Men’s league.  First league play is 10/3

 HOA 10/18 from 9-11, Chris will be in cardroom every Wednesday collecting HOA dues for renewals or new members.

HORSESHOES  Anyone interested in playing, contact Jerry Testa @ 772-242-1439. League starts 1/8/18. A meeting will be scheduled in November to pick teams. If we don’t get enough players to fill at least 10 teams the league will be cancelled.
Italian American    10/7 Members only family picnic, food & water provided, BYOB & chairs. $5pp tickets sold 9/20 from 9-11 in card room. Rain or shine

LINE DANCE   @ 1:30 and every Tuesday in season; beginners welcome. We focus on teaching the basic line dance steps & beginner dances during October. Get your dance shoes out & grab a friend.
Men’s Golf League   10/7 league starts. Sign up dates 9/20 from 4-5pm, 9/21 from 7-8pm in lounge. New members must turn in 3 scorecards per side at sign up.
New England   10/10 @ 1:30 activities committee meets in Pow Wow
10/17 @ 3;30 1st meeting of season  - dues will be collected
10/25   club picnic @ Pepper Park. $2 will be collected at time of sign up & returned when you attend event. Sign up 10/11 from 9-11 in card room or at monthly meeting. Serving hot dogs and everyone is to bring a dish to  share.

Beginning 3/1/17 all construction debris must be placed inside a normal number of trash cans.   Any construction debris placed on the ground will not be removed by Waste Pro as part of your normal garbage pick-up.   Waste Pro will pick up construction debris as a separate pickup but will charge the HOMEOWNER $12 per cubic yard of material.  We recommend you require your contractor remove any debris they create.     Please call Lois Cardinale @ 772-318-6917 to schedule your Waste Pro

Please submit all requests for exterior changes to your home or lot to your park manager.
A brief letter describing the type of improvement and materials to be used is necessary,as well as a clearly drawn sketch.
A few photographs of the area you are seeking to alter will help immensely.
